Watches (under $100!)

A few baby wearing tips

watches under 100

one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight

I’m regretting not finding 12 watches because that would have made this graphic even more appropriate.

I’m a dedicated watch wearer these days, which is sort of new for me. So much of my day depends on the timing of naps and meals that on days I don’t wear a watch I find myself looking at my wrist anyway.

I have this watch and this watch, but I’m thinking about adding another more casual “boyfriend” watch into the mix as well.

So much of my wardrobe these days is so casual, but a sporty watch just isn’t my style. So I’ve found that a simple watch, that could really be dressed up or down, is what I prefer to wear.

This post is odd to me…are these all “boyfriend” watches? And then you said that all the watches are under $100 dollars and then I click on a link and it’s $189? Just seems like a random post. “Here are twelve watches. I need a new one because I need to tell time throughout the day. Sporty watches aren’t my style.” It’s just seems like a post that was written last minute. I love your blog Kate, but some of these posts feel forced. We all understand that your time is more limited these days so rather than pump out five posts a week just for the sake of posting, I would rather read less with better content.

Oh, please. Watches are on her mind, she writes a short and to the point post about watches. You need a rumination on watches? Boo-hoo!

You girls are killing me! lol! Jeeeeezzz. It’s nice of ya’ll to come to her defense but good Lord, I don’t think I was that off the mark and I still stand behind the feedback!

Hi Julie. You clicked on the link for her watch. The 8 watches she posted about are all under $100. I mean this in love: Kate’s blog is free…. If you don’t like it, find a new one. Life is too short to complain about something such as this.

Totally understand the confusion about the Horse watch because it’s over $100, the graphic includes watches that are under $100 🙂

If time is something you cherish so deeply then why waste your time commenting on my feedback? Seems odd to me…I on the other hand have some spare time I’m willing to part with. Many mahalos though for your concern with how I choose to spend my time.

Julie, your comment is nothing but rude.

I disagree but thank you for the feedback 🙂

Hey Julie,

THIS. SO MUCH THIS. That is all.

The rest of you? Lay off the kool-aid.

Wow, really? If the post doesn’t interest you, scroll on. No one forced you to read it. I actually enjoyed the post, as I do all of Kate’s posts. It is her blog, she is free to write about any content she chooses. If you are not appreciative of the time she is devoting (especially as a mother of two very young children), perhaps you should find other blogs.

I too have two kids that are 14 months apart so I know all about time and how limited it can be. I also know how much free time I have been able to squeeze out of each day in spite of that, so the kids excuse isn’t exactly a good one for me personally. Not that I have to explain myself but I wil because I have some free time, the post did in fact interest me…that’s why I read it…it was at the end that I felt like I had wasted my time. Kate makes money off of us. I love her blog so much, but I just felt as though it was an incomplete post that ended rather abruptly and that was written in haste. It was my feedback as a “customer” so to speak. Nothing more, nothing less…

Julie – I agree completely. Some of these “fan-girls” are so quick to defend Kate, even when a comment is valid, constructive criticism. There was nothing rude about Julie’s comment. As a reader, every link you click, every page you view is money in Kate’s pocket. I feel that as reader’s we have every right to comment and the content of the blog does feel forced at times. This post is a perfect example.

Kate is a big girl and can defend herself. Everyone who is commenting childish comments about Julie being “rude” and “boo-hoo” are literally acting like high school girls coming to the aid of their leader. Grow up and let constructive criticism be read as that – constructive.

Really Julie? Haven’t your heard to the saying “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all”

Reply
Julie says · 07.09.15

You know what…no, I’ve never heard of that saying before. Thank you so much though for enlightening me. I’ll be sure to keep that in mind as I forge on through life 😉

Constructive criticism written in a tactful and yes, even “nice” way, is what Julie did here. She wrote what likely many others were thinking, and she did it in a helpful and classy, mature manner. Any good blogger or company will welcome both positive and negative feedback. So actually Julie WAS being “nice”– you can give criticism while still being nice about it; moreover, she took the time to be helpful to Kate for future content.

Perfect timing! (Ha!) I just told my husband last night that I need a watch. I’m tired of using my phone for a clock. I’m loving the rose gold one from Target!

Great post, as I have been thinking about wearing a watch again – it’s been years! I have a great Fossil watch, but have had my eye on a few rose gold ones by Fossil and Express (hello Michael Kors, but not for the price). I think I stopped wearing one for my job, as I always got annoyed by it clanking on m,y desk when I’m typing. But, it’s a great accessory to any outfit! They’re on my mind again…

I highly suggest a timex weekender for a cheaper solution for a boyfriend styled or sportier watch. They have lots of third party etsy shops with bands that fit the watch’s inter-changeable band style.

I like #3 but it’s not available in Target stores, just online. My last three online orders have been back ordered or cancelled so I’m a little gun-shy about ordering from them.

I saw a rose gold Merona watch that isn’t quite as elegant but is in stores. I might look at it tomorrow morning when I’m out.

I love these! I recently bought an Apple Watch… I also don’t really like sporty watches (at all) but this watch is changing my life. I got the one with the modern buckle, which made it look quite a bit less sporty. they’re a lot more expensive, unfortunately.

I am loving leather band watches lately. I wear my large Michael Kors gold watch on a daily basis but these are very pretty options!

I love both Eight and Five!!! I’m loving how chic those bands look. What really peaked my interest in this post was that you mentioned how you use your watch to keep your boys schedule on track..I would love if you did a post on your munchkins schedule. As a mom of one I am just trying to find the best schedule for my kiddo…I know there is no one perfect schedule, just would love to know what schedule has worked for you and your kiddos.

I especially like a watch to tell time when I’m with other people. It seems so rude to pull out my cell phone to check the clock. But a quick flick of the wrist – easy and sly. No one needs to notice that.

I love 2 and 3! Of course they are from Target…I really think I should just buy stock in that store since I continue to donate all my money there regularly anyway. 🙂 The same price too! Ah, decisions, decisions!
