Pizza Dip

Concealers I Love (and where I use them)

While this may not be the most beautiful looking appetizer, I assure you that it is a crowd pleaser! I’ll share the recipe below but will also tell you that I’m working on tweaking a few things to make the dip a little creamier and easier to scoop!

Pizza Dip // serves 4-6

Chive and Onion Cream Cheese (you can do plain but I much prefer using chive & onion)

Pizza Sauce (I like using Raos)

Mozzarella (shredded at home will give you a better result after baking)

Spread about 1/2 the tub of cream cheese into the bottom of a pie pan (or a dish shaped like a pie pan that is oven-safe). Spread pizza sauce over cream cheese the way you would on pizza dough. Cover with shredded mozzarella. Bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees.

Dip tortilla chips, slices of french bread, pita bread, or Fritos into the Pizza Dip and enjoy!

*You can add pepperoni or other types of cheese too!

My sister-in-law first introduced this many many football Sundays ago. We’ve done many variations – one Super Bowl Sunday we did a full pizza-dip bar with Supreme (canned mushrooms (I know, but so authentic), green pepper, red onion, meats), Meat Lovers, Hawaiian, and other specialty Pizza Dips. It’s always a hit DESPITE its appearance. We joke, you can’t judge the dip before you taste it!
