From all my years behind the chair, and now all my years reviewing and testing products for the blog, I have a handful of products and tools that I repeatedly reach for week after week when I’m getting ready for the day.

So for this post, we’re focusing on those. The greatest hits, if you will!

But amongst these favorites, there is also a lengthy list of other products that I’ve tried and really enjoyed. I always try to share specific feedback about products I’m testing because even if it’s something I don’t love, it may be exactly what you’re looking for.

Let’s start off with the Hit List.

Amika Un.Done Texture Spray – one of my most used, most loved texture sprays. It adds thickness, grit, and a matte definition to the hair.

GHD Original Styler 1-inch flat iron – it doesn’t have a heat dial, BUT it’s one of the quickest irons to use for smooth hair. Just make sure you use a heat protector with it!

Bumble and Bumble Spray De Mode – a really great flexible hold hairspray, perfect for those days you want your hair to last but you don’t want it to feel stiff.

Lancome Lash Idole Mascara – gives clean, lifted definition to the lashes. Zero clumps with this mascara!

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – one of my absolute favorite medium coverage foundations because it looks so realistic on the skin. Can be worn in a thin layer or applied more heavily with a brush for more coverage.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer – absolutely fool-proof. Adds coverage to dark spots or blemishes and doesn’t separate.

Patrick Ta Blush and Powder Duo in “She’s That Girl” – the color of this blush is just the icing on the cake for me. It’s the perfect warm pink, and I love using the cream + powder layered together.

NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm – this is a flattering warm, peachy, slightly shimmery blush that makes anyone look fresh and youthful.

Peter Thomas Roth Mineral Tinted Sunscreen – I love how this sunscreen wears on my skin by itself, and it also layers very nicely under makeup.

Anastasia Brow Wiz – another fool-proof makeup product. This brow pencil offers definition through a tiny pencil tip so the strokes look like hair.

Sephora Solid Brush Cleanser and Pad – I always go back to this brush cleaner. It’s compact, cleans the brushes really well, and doesn’t leave any waxy/heavy residue behind.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara – if you want thick, volumized lashes, this mascara is for you.

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer – it’s hard to describe this moisturizer unless you try it yourself. It slides onto the skin with ease and sinks in deeply.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow – the most flattering contour + highlight duo in a compact!

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat & UV Protection Primer – I love this product for protecting my hair against heat, and adding softness!

Pureology Colour Fanatic Heat Protectant Leave-in Conditioner – this smells heavenly and is one of my very favorite leave-in conditioners.

Alterna Caviar Overnight Bond Repair – If you want healthy hair, but don’t have time to do a hair mask in the shower, apply this at night and wash it out in the morning. It’s great for adding softness and rebuilding the hair.

Sephora Collection Makeup Brushes (this is a great brush set!) – my Sephora brand brushes are my most-used and this brush set will give you everything you need.

And some recent discoveries that have become repeat offenders:

Very Valentino Concealer – I was truly impressed by this concealer. The reviews speak for themselves!

Shu Uemura Izumi Tonic Strengthening & Thickening Rice Water Hair Serum – I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this thickening serum. You apply it to dry, styled hair but it adds a notable thickness and softness to the hair.

Fenty Pro Kiss’r Lucious Lip Balm – this adds a wash of color and a ton of hydration.

Ouai St. Barts Gentle Body Wash – the smell of this body wash reminds me so much of a tropical vacation!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Sheer Long-Wear Makeup – I’ve been wearing this on days I want a lighter look and feel to my foundation and I really like it!

Hourglass Unlocked Satin Creme Lipstick in “Lotus” – such a fun punchy color for spring and summer.

Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter in Champagne Gold – I love how this looks on my skin, it’s like the final touch to take my makeup up a notch.

Pat McGrath Labs Lip Fetish Divinyl Lip Shine in Nude Venus – this is a very easy-to-wear nude pink that isn’t too brown!

Pat McGrath Labs Lust Lip Gloss in Peach Perversion – this gloss feels so great on the lips, and doesn’t disappear moments after applying it like some lip glosses do.

Now, is there a plausible chance that I forgot a product that I’ve used a lot recently? Yes. But let me know if you have questions in the comments below and I’ll do my best to answer them quickly so you can take advantage of this Sephora Savings Event!

This is a great post! Thank you for the recommendations. Curious, what eye shadow, eye liner and lip color/gloss are you wearing in the up close picture? Such pretty complimentary colors.
