Can I wash my Hair Every Day? (Part 2)

Listen I love sunshine as much as the next girl, but I’m starting to wonder if our weather in Raleigh is just too good to be true?! It’s beautiful weather every dang day! We’re in desperate need of rain, though, so while I love the sunshine I’m also keeping a close eye on my plants that are getting. . . well . . . quite dry!

This week felt rather fast and I think that is partially due to a ton of prep work for a lot of exciting things next month for The Small Things, as well as the last week of school for the kids! Emily had a slight cold/cough earlier this week so we kept her out of school to be extra safe. She missed all her last-day activities, but she’s feeling better already so I’m glad we kept her home so her sickness didn’t last terribly long.

Last week I shared a post about washing your hair, and this week I shared a follow-up post answering a few more questions about it!

I also shared a few photos of my back porch which we’ve already been putting to great use this season!

I hope you have a great holiday weekend, and without giving away TOO much I just want to give you a nudge to follow along on Instagram stories. Something big is starting next week!

And here are a few things I mentioned on Instagram Stories recently that you may have missed:

Strawberry picking at Porter Farms in Raleigh

Questions from Monday’s Question Box on IG stories!

Would you ever consider lip injections? It’s hard for me to see myself ever being interested in that, so I don’t think it’s likely!

I got my hair colored and it looks grey? What do I do? Uh oh! Sounds like the toner or gloss is too cool for your hair. When blonde is overly toned down, it can look gray. Talk to your stylist and see if he/she can do a different toner!

What is your heritage? Scottish, Danish, Irish, German

What coffee beans do you like in your coffee maker? I really like the Brazil beans! Here is a post about my coffee machine.

If you could pick an era to live in, which would you choose? If I’m ONLY thinking about hair and clothes, it would have to be the 50’s. I would crush a day dress and a short-styled “set” haircut every single day!

I would choose the 60s! I love the hairstyles from that era- the beehive and the flip! Big hair all the way, baby. (Think the Netflix series The Queen’s Gambit). I am just not a fan of super flat hair, especially when it has been straightened stick straight with a straightener. The bell bottom pants from that era were fun too.
