Pretty Jewelry that is also great for Mother’s Day

We, and a lot of the rest of the country apparently, had a bit of a cold spell this week but it’s looking to warm back up next week! We’ve got almost no plans this weekend but I’m hoping we spend a little time cleaning out the garage–it needs it!

So, I’m a few weeks into testing the Dazzle Dry system for nail polish and I. AM. HOOKED. As someone with naturally very weak, thin, peel-prone nails, this system has lasted incredibly long on me. Since I’m always asked to compare this to my pre-existing favorites, I’ll do a list of my favorite systems by top performance (quality of polish, how long it lasts, etc) below.

One. Dazzle Dry

Two. Essie Gel Couture

Three. Londontown Lakur

Four. CND Vinylux

Five. Olive & June

Six. OPI

Seven. Essie

I honestly never polish my nails with standard OPI or Essie polishes because they simply don’t last on my fingernails. I do use those brands on my toes though!

Did you catch my latest video on YouTube?

Target has a lot of new swimwear this season and this double strap bikini top is so cute!

I listened to the story of the McBride sisters on How I Built This podcast and was so anxious to try the wine as soon as I found it in store! I tried the red blend, but next on my list is the Sauvignon Blanc!

And here are a few things I mentioned on Instagram Stories that you may have missed:

Black Target Dress – I’ve heard from a few of you that you’ve also bought this and love it! I love when you have success with my recommendations.

White Madewell tank top – a really great racerback tank for warm weather.

Warby Parker Laurel Sunglasses – some of my favorites!

Casual Long Sleeve White Shirt

Athletic shorts

T3 Sitewide Sale – 20% off with code FAMILY20 (ends April 25) – 2 more days to shop!

Rifle Paper Co hydrangea mug + tumbler

Faux Birken-Crocs – I love these! Considering another color already!

Apple Watch Strap

Briogeo Scalp Brush

Online Interior Design with Modsy Design – Such a helpful tool to lay out the plan for a room and get style ideas.

Hot Pink short sleeve tunic

Questions from Monday’s Q&A Box on Instagram Stories!

Have you tried color street for nail polish? I’ve tried the “sticker” kind of nail polish and it’s just not for me.

What to ask my stylist for your haircut? It’s a mid-length blunt cut with long layers.

Can you recommend a good natural eyeshadow palette? I really love the Naked 2 Basics palette, or the Milani Most Wanted palette.

What is a good product for dark spots on my face? Vitamin C serum is great for brightening skin including dark spots!

Could you please do a post or story on what colors of Dazzle Dry you’ve tried and pictures? Thank you! 🙂

I’d love to see a post on the dazzle dry system! Sounds interesting! Have you tried any of the at home powder dip systems like peppi or revel?

Can you use the dazzle dry (base and top coat) with other brand colored polish? Would it have the same results?

Hi Kate
I do have a question about the Dazzle nail polish……can it be removed easily? I rarely paint my nails, but I would like to try a product that will perform well (like a gel polish) but is easy to remove.
Thanks !!

it comes off very easily, yes!

I agree with you about using those brands mentioned on “toes only!” 😉

I know you are still “testing” but 2 questions on the Dazzle Dry system I wonder if you can answer. Can “regular nail polish remover” be used to remove it (I just stocked up!) and does it damage natural nails in the removal process any more than removing “traditional” nail products?

Regular nail polish removes it! It has not damaged my nails at all!
