3 Things I Learned about my Boys During “Stay At Home”

This was such an amazing week. My sister had her baby! I’m an aunt to two really sweet kids on Justin’s side, so my sister’s baby is my second nephew but first on our side of the family. If you are saying to yourself, “I can imagine how happy you are for her…” I assure you that you would need to quadruple that feeling to get even close to how happy I am for her and Mike.

It’s also pure and complete torture to wait for delivery news. I’ve only had 3 scheduled c-sections to the waiting and the waiting and the waiting feels like it takes a true eternity.

The great news, and all that matters, is that she is recovering well, and the baby is healthy!

Here are a few other links + loves from around the web:

Kendi tried on a pile of white t-shirts and shared her thoughts on all of them!

This Tex-Mex Orzo with Jalapeno Chicken Sausages from Bev Cooks looks so good!

I bought these sandals from Amazon recently and found them to be so comfortable and lightweight. I love an espadrille but I hate when they feel heavy to walk around in. I’ve had great success with Vince footwear lasting me for multiple years, and I have high hopes I’m going to get a lot of wear out of these shoes too!

This looks like a cute sweater tank!

These tie-belt linen shorts from Old Navy were out of stock in my size but I’m keeping my eyes on them for when they restock! They look perfect!

I love these simple pocket racerback tanks from Z Supply.

I made strawberry ice cream last weekend with freshly picked local strawberries. It was so good! I used this recipe again (because it cannot be beat) and this ice cream machine!

I hope you have a nice weekend and are staying safe!

Love those tank tops! I love strawberry ice cream; it’s prefect for summer! I bet homemade is even more delicious!

Awe, congratulations! So exciting. Waiting for delivery news can be so tortuous like, “Are they here yet? Are they here yet? Are they here yet?!! Lol. We picked fresh strawberries last week too and they were so delicious. Homemade ice cream is one thing I’ve never tried with the strawberries but need to! Have a great weekend!
