A Bronzer, A Brightener, and a Long-Wear Lip Creme
Why I stopped using Latisse
I grabbed some new products at Sephora (everything but the lip creme) and thought I’d do a quick before + after post and give you my first impressions!
I did apply a bit of blush as well (Tarte’s Glisten) but other than that I added the Hoola bronzer, the brightener by YSL that I LOVE, and the lip creme by Jouer. My skin looks so much warmer doesn’t it? That’s the bronzer for you! It’s probably the warmest tone that I have, and I’m sure I’ll be wearing it a bit more these days. It’s becoming a product that I don’t feel finished without, if that makes any sense.
I did a little snapchat review (find me at K8_smallthings) about the Jouer long-wear lip creme in shade Dulce De Leche and I’ve decided that I like it. Long-wear products tend to be drying and I did find this to be a little drying but it did NOT flake or peel. It stretched with my lips, so I also didn’t have those strange lines that can sometimes occur with long-wear lip products!
The brightening product is the YSL Touche Elcat Radiant Touch in shade 1. This is the lightest shade and I felt like it woke my whole face up! It’s not shimmery at all, and blends in like a dream. I like to wear it on the tops of my cheeks and near the inner corners of my eyes!
These have been a few fun additions to my makeup collection! I have to say that I browsed other shades of the Jouer lip creme but none stood out to me. Do you have any? What colors do you love?
