I miss having my van! We upgraded to a SUV as the kids have gotten bigger. I too stashed away a extra bag when my kids were younger. You can never have enough supplies on hand! 🙂

I never thought to stash extra diapers in my car as an emergency! Makes sense now that you mention it!! I always stash extra toys within arms reach so I do not have to be unsafe when ones goose missing in the backseat while in driving. I love the earl gray petunia pattern.

Such a cute bag! I always keep diapers, wipes, extra pants and a applesauce pouches in my car for my munchkins. The extra pants came in handy when we went ice skating this weekend and I didn’t plan for my year old to get soaking wet from falling so much. We had a blast and I was so thankful that he had dry pants to wear to dinner afterward.

I would agree with you that having extra bibs is a must. I always keep extra socks in the diaper bag, too. I have also found that it helps to keep an extra pack of wipes in the car for impromptu messes and a couple extra diapers just in case. I have a small box that I keep in the back seat that holds a few diapers, a travel pack of wipes, and a few small toys.

I always have a stash in the car! My biggest worry is running out of diapers or wipes, so we have a ton of those. This time of year I always have a blanket and a stocking cap. The weather changes so quickly that I may have left the house with Just a light jacket, but it could be snowing by the time we get home! I usually have 4-5 different snacks too. My kids get hangry just like me!

We bought a new car this past weekend- my husband made fun of me for packing meals for our one year old. He thought it would be a quick trip as well. 6 1/2 hours later we were finally home. Luckily I had a feast for the kid and the dealership employees didn’t mind him running all over the place!

I would looooove the champs-élysées stops or regent park stops. I’m an all gray everyday person like you, so I think the regent park would add a good pop of color, but the champs-élysées stops would match my stuff too 🙂 BTW, genius idea to leave a back up supply in the van. My “leave-in-the-Car” stash has evolved into a bin and then I can use a regular purse again!

She is the queen of shoe removal, so we always stash an extra pair behind the front passenger seat in the pocket. Besides the necessities you mentioned, we kept a small container of books and toys that stayed in our vehicle. That way the kids had something to play with or read if I forgot or if the errands took longer than planned.

I’m torn between the Notting Hill Stop and the Central Park ?(black one). They are all so fun!

It’s a hard choice but I think I’d go with notting hill stop!

I had my first baby just 1 month after your David was born so I have really enjoyed your David Wednesdays! And since my little guy is just a month behind yours, it has been nice to know what to expect as I follow your blog. One big mistake I made when he was born was not buying a diaper bag. I just went down to Tj Maxx and bought a cute oversized purse and have been using that for the last several months. It worked alright until it pretty much fell apart last month and now I’m in the market for a new one. Now that I have been shopping around, I’m starting to realize what a huge mistake it was not getting a real diaper bag in the first place. They would have made life a heck of a lot easier this last year!! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been out and had to spend several minutes digging around my purse looking for a binki or a bib or something. I have heard such great things about petunia pickle bottom diaper bags and would love to try them out! And I love the City carryall in Lively Lima! It’s great how they don’t scream “hi I’m a diaper bag” which was a huge reason I didn’t buy a diaper bag in the first place. Thanks for the giveaway!

I have done the same thing when mine where little. They slobbered a lot when they where teething but they also threw up slot to. My youngest was allergic to milk and when didn’t know at first and he really threw up a lot before we found this out. No mommy is perfect no matter how much we try to be. And having your second you will find you forget a little more than you did with just david. Having time for yourself will definately be limited but it is so worth it! You have glowed your whole pregnancy.

I have been a huge fan of PPB bags even though I have never owned one myself. However, with baby #3 and having three under 3, I am eyeing the weekender bag as my carry-all for all three babies. All of the PPB prints are awesome. It’s really hard to decide which one would be a favorite.

I also have emergency kits stashed in both cars! I was gifted a Boxy Backpack in Sapphire Roll before my daughter was born, but at confess that I do not love it. However, I sure would love to have that City Carryall in Central Park North Stop.

I love that bag! The Notting Hill Spice is beautiful. And it is a must to have extras in the vehicle. I usually carried 6 diapers with me and one day at Babies R us, my daughter went through all of those and the wipes I had with me. It was a mixture of diarrhea and then pooping in the middle of a change or moving and it got all over the new diaper. I just couldn’t put her in an already dirty diaper. So we had to leave the store (I had just bought a huge box of diapers at Sams Club so I wasn’t going to buy any diapers there) so I could change her again! I still carry wipes in the car and my kids are 10, 9, 7.5 and 5.5 🙂

I love Petunia bags! I’ve been keeping my eye on them. Out of this collection my favorites are the Noir Paris (or Paris Noir?!) and the Champs-élysées. You can never go wrong with a neutral and stains won’t show haha. I love the idea of keeping an emergency kit in the car! My kid is always losing socks and I’m always forgetting to bring a small blanket for her haha.

I would pick Earl Grey. It is simple and would go with everything. We have baby #3 due in June and we do not know the gender yet so it would be neutral.

I have a pretty good stash of items in my car too. My favorite thing I’ve recently added is a collapsible storage basket with toys, binkies, and snack cups. I velcroed it right to the middle of the floor in the back so I can hand my daughter what she needs while driving.

Classically crete is adorable!

Berkshire is definitely my favorite! But they’re all so nice… My husband and I are taking my daughter to hawaii, a trip we’ve been planning and saving for for over 2 years now. I need a nice big carry-on for the airplane and tote for the trip!
