Sephora Holiday Savings Event Info + Product Recommendations!

I posted a “question box” on Instagram Stories recently and one of the most common replies when I asked “what kind of content you’d be interested in for the rest of 2020” was “self-care ideas”. While beauty products or routines certainly aren’t everyone’s idea of self-care, it certainly is for me and I’d venture to guess that it is for some of you as well.

Sephora is running their Holiday Savings Event, in which Rouge members (aka yours truly) can get 20% off their purchase online or in-store. It is one of their greatest savings events and my favorite time to stock up on products I love and explore their gift sets!

So now that you have all the info you need for the event, let’s dive into some products! I’m focusing heavily on gift sets with holiday gifting in mind, but I’ll also share a list of my most re-purchased products at the end of the post for those who may be shopping for themselves!

I love the idea of the beauty advent calendars especially for someone new to makeup or a teen. It’s a great way to dive into a brand of products and this Wild Wishes Advent Calendar by Sephora is STOCKED full of great products to try out.

I really love the FENTY BEAUTY glosses and this gift set has a perfect mixture of bolder colors with some great soft neutrals as well.

I’m a huge fan and daily user of GrandeLash products and this kit will certainly please anyone who is looking to condition, grow, or just maintain healthy lashes and brows.

I love anything that adds texture or airy volume to my otherwise flat, limp hair. Both of these are great intro products to the Bumble and Bumble line. BB Thickening Dryspun Volume Texture Spray is what I use mid-shaft to ends to add texture to my curls so they don’t nest into one another, and a light mist of the Thickening Spray on damp hair will add lift and volume!

I looooove the NARS Afterglow Lip Balms. This set has a full size of the shade Orgasm, which is my favorite shade, and then smaller sizes of Dolce Vita, Fast Lane, and Laguna. These feel comfortable on the lips, add a slight wash of color, and are great to wear on minimal makeup days!

One. Don’t buy fragrance as a gift unless you are 100% certain the recipient has tried and loves it.

Two. Steer clear of wrinkle-reducing or blemish-clearing products because you don’t want to offend anyone!

Three. Consider gifting a product that you use and love so you can include a personal message like, “I’ve been using this lip gloss for years and I can tell you it feels so hydrating and I think you’ll love it!”
