Classic Bags for Any Season

A camel, taupe or grey handbag is such a timeless and transitional bag that works with any outfit in any season.

If you don’t like switching up your handbag very often, I’d recommend finding a nice classic taupe shade, or going a bit darker into the camel category. Grey is great for those of you that wear a lot of black clothing. On that same note, though, camel or taupe would also go seamlessly with black outfits as well!

I picked a few pretty options for the graphic above and want to share a bit about brands I love and have had a good experience with!

I’ve had a few Tory Burch handbags that hold up beautifully. The leather is soft and has such a pretty texture. The branding is understated (I really don’t love anything to have an overt label all over it) and the styles are versatile. If I were looking for a new handbag to wear all year long, I’d go with the McGraw Hobo in Silver Maple. It’s big enough for all your stuff, and also has a little space for a diaper and wipes if you have a little one that is almost done with needing a diaper bag.

I’ve had a few All Saints bags and love them. I find that my denim does transfer onto the backs of the bags, but that’s the risk you run when choosing a lighter leather. The Kita Shoulder/Crossbody bag is beautiful and the nude pink shade is such a nice option for versatility!

Madewell totes and crossbody bags are the perfect casual option and the leather only gets better with time. I still have a few Madewell bags that are a bit distressed and worn, but I love them for an easy, no-fuss option. This new Abroad Tote bag is a stunner!!

On the more budget-friendly end, Target has seriously upped their game with their A New Day line. I’ve been stopped in my tracks looking at satchels and totes in store. This is a beautiful taupe bag for about $30! This grey crossbody is also a beautiful, classic option that comes in a few other colors as well!

Just FYI: the Target crossbody has TERRIBLE reviews, every one saying the bag won’t stay closed.

Do you have any recommendations for a clear bag that meets the stadium requirements? Either usefulness, style, durability…

Number two looks like a Fossil bag that I looked at recently. Ended up getting the Hannah Hobo in a camel color. It is absolutely perfect. Plenty of room for makeup, phone, iPad and snacks 🙂 It was originally about $240 and I got it for $86 on their website. I’m beyond thrilled with it. Just ordered a clutch/wallet to go with it, also on sale.
