The Small Things Team Gift Picks

My Favorite Winter Nail Colors

I’ve been working on gift guides for the past few weeks and will start rolling them out next week! To kick us off, though, I asked my team to share a few of their picks for “stocking stuffer” type gifts!

Taylor’s Picks: BioClarity Clarifying Masque, Gilette Venus Spa Razor with refills, Benefit Cosmetics Soft & Natural Brow Kit, Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

Jordan’s Picks: 14,000 Things to Be Happy About, Mejuri Ear Cuff, Anthropologie Mug, Madewell Key Ring

Amanda’s Picks: Salt & Pepper Cellars from No Crumbs Left, Random Kitchen Gadgets, Lululemon Gift Card, Nice Piece of Jewelry

Taylor:

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer – This is my absolute favorite concealer! Even on days that I don’t do a full face of makeup, I still swipe some on underneath my eyes and on my blemishes. Because I use it so often, I would love to see this in my stocking knowing I wouldn’t have to purchase my next one.
Benefit Cosmetics Soft & Natural Brow Kit – I was actually gifted this one year for Christmas and I absolutely loved it! As someone who has thin, light eyebrows, filling them in is a must. This brow kit from Benefit does the trick so naturally and beautifully.
Gilette Venus Spa Razor with refills – Razors are a must-have item that no woman wants to have to buy. It’s also nice to have a razor that comes with refills so that you don’t run out at an inconvenient time.
BioClarity Clarifying Masque – As someone who has combination skin, face masks are a must for me. I love that this brand uses plant-based products and the results are really great. My skin feels so much smoother and I definitely notice a difference in my acne after using this mask.
Jordan:
Mejuri Ear Cuff: I love ear cuffs for days when I want to feel a little edgier than usual! This one is just bold enough to make a statement without going overboard. Mejuri is one of my favorite places to shop for jewelry and I almost always have a piece or two on my Christmas list.
14,000 Things to Be Happy About: This little book comes in handy when I need a bit of cheering up or a good shift in perspective! I love that it’s so simple (the title is extremely literal… it’s just a very long list of things to be happy about), and easy to pick up and read even just for a minute or two! Consider it a book full of instant warm fuzzies.
Anthropologie Mug: A) I’m the world’s biggest sucker when it comes to mugs, and B) we have a tradition in my family of everyone getting a new mug in their stocking each year. Anthro has so many cute ones to choose from! Time to make more room in the cupboard.
Madewell Key Ring: I have kept my keys on one of these for years and at this point, I’m unsure if I could get by without it! The clip aspect comes in handy so often when I want to attach my keys to my bag or wallet. It’s the perfect combo of practical and pretty.
Amanda:

Salt & Pepper Cellars from No Crumbs Left: A few years ago for Christmas, I received a book of family recipes from my mom and one from my mother-in-law. These gifts were the most special I’d ever received. I cook a lot and always look for ease while putting together a recipe. I’ve been following Teri at No Crumbs Left for a while and love these little handmade cellars for salt and pepper that sit right on your counter.

Small spatulas or other random kitchen gadgets: My mother-in-law is amazing at finding great small kitchen items that you never knew you needed until you use them. Small spatulas are amazing at getting peanut butter out of the bottom of the jar.

Lululemon Gift Card: Because, well, do I have to explain why? I just love their stuff so much.

A nice piece of jewelry, either earring or a necklace: The only nice piece of jewelry that I’ve ever owned is my wedding ring set. Jewelry is something I rarely wear and have never consider buying for myself. I’m not even sure of my preferred style although I’d be happy to find something dainty and classic that I love. This imperfect circle necklace is a good example of what I’d like to see in my stocking.

“Honey, I love you. I want you to shave your body parts and tame your eyebrows (hint hint!) Merry Christmas!”

No thank you. Too much product placement on a blog makes it insincere.

Many, many bloggers post gift guides this time of year as people are shopping for their loved ones. This one seems no different 🙂 You know what they say: If you can’t say something nice….

I’m dying to get something from Mejuri! I’m not cool enough to rock an ear cuff, but I’m thinking a nice ring or necklace to gift to myself!

The photos in the graphic are so tiny it’s hard to see what they are!
