Sometimes I see the half top knot and I hate it. Sometimes I see it and I love it. I’m trying to practice it a few times before I film a tutorial because I think it can be a cute, casual style if executed the right way!

Great spring sneakers, I love the green!

I shared these great finds from Amazon last week:

This is a great basic tee with a drop-shoulder sleeve for only $14! It’s not TOO long but is long enough to be tucked in the front if you are into that kind of thing!

I also ordered this terry cotton roll sleeve shirt that is a nice weight so it doesn’t require any kind of cami underneath it like some paper thin tops do these days, and I loved the casual look of it. Perfect for the weekend.

We celebrated Luke’s 4th birthday last weekend. He’s a big fan of the color green right now so the party was loosely green themed. I ordered a cake from the grocery store and covered it in green sprinkles, I think he loved it. He invited a few friends from school but we kept it very small and simple. Pizza, cake, bouncy house–that was about it! He had so much fun playing with his friends and it was really sweet to see him interact with kids that he knows from school. It’s funny when that transition happens as a parent. For so long the friends are chosen via the mom friends I’m spending time with, but it’s really wonderful to watch Luke grow up and find similarities and interests with other kids around him!

He ended up getting sick the night before his actual birthday, so Tuesday was spent laying low and resting all day. I’m thankful we did his party and celebrated on Sunday so his memory is of that fun day instead of a sick day at home.

If you missed it, I shared an interview with Kristin, a local esthetician, and she answered a ton of commonly asked questions about skincare. You can watch the video here!

This is a cute faux fur pink vest. I think it would look really great with black jeans and a black casual top.

An app for organizing your podcasts, I discovered this via this post on Cupcakes & Cashmere.

I hope you have a great weekend! February is already flying by which is good because this tends to be my least favorite month of the year, weather-wise.

That drop shoulder T is cute! Can’t resist blue and white stripes.

I ordered that stripe drop shoulder T-shirt in XS and it was way too long. But I’m 5’2. Keep that in mind!

I absolutely love your tutorials, never been a “hair fixer person” but always like to look nice and unique. By watching your tutorials, I have learned so much and I can do it! Don’t ever stop! Can’t wait to see your half up knot do!
