I’ve been loving the L’Oreal Lumi Highlighter (I use shade Fair!) for brightening the inner corner of my eyes. I really dislike the applicator but I just squeeze a bit onto the back of my hand and then dot it onto my skin. This is subtle with zero shimmer, which is right up my alley!

This looks like such a cozy drape sweater!

I loved the Core 10 leggings so much that I’m curious if this sports bra is just as good! Aaaaaaand this tank looks pretty darn good too.

How to DIY an art ledge! I love this style of hanging art in a room!

A pretty step up from a basic tee!

I wrote a “day in Raleigh” post for Mara’s blog this week, click here to read it!

I usually work from home but on rare occasions I’ll try to spend a little time at a coffee shop with my laptop just for a change of scenery. This is a great laptop tote that even has a small section to keep your laptop from banging around in your bag.

Did you catch this post about fall shoes that AREN’T ankle booties?

Justin and I watched the movie “Adrift” earlier this week. It’s a true story about a couple that sailed through a horrible hurricane on their way to California. It’s unbelievable to see what they went through. I’d recommend it but be warned that it’s hard to watch at times!

I get so tired of boring chicken over and over and over again so I think I’ll try a few recipes from this list soon!

I was in the kitchen with my friend Caroline recently and she whipped out this enormous sheet pan and I instantly coveted. She had picked it up at ALDI several months ago and next time I go I’m going to see if they are still carrying it! Here is a similar option in case you are in the market!

Hey, let’s hang out! I’m hosting a shopping event at Madewell in one week! You should know by now that my favorite jeans are by Madewell and I’d love to meet you on October 4th!

One of m favorite chicken recipes that’s easy, low carb and soo good.

1 Hidden valley Ranch packet, 1 cup Parmesan cheese mix these two ingredients together. Dip chicken breast in an egg then into the ranch/cheese place in a sprayed baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes covered, then uncover and back for another 20-25minutes( until cheese breading starts to crisp up( turn light brown). Enjoy! Hope you like it! Serve with side of pasta, or vegetables.

The art ledge looks amazing. I love home decor ideas that allow you to change things up without leaving holes in the wall. I wish I was in Raleigh to come to the event! xAllie

Thanks for the Adrift recommendation! If you like movies based on true stories, then you need to watch Lion. It is so good!

I’m in love with that DIY art ledge – I’d love to do it in my family room if my husband ever decides to finish the renovation!

I made the honey lemon chicken last night but made fresh green beans instead of asparagus. I’m not a fan of asparagus, at all. The chicken was really good. The next time I make it, I’ll probably marinade the chicken in the sauce to give the inside of the chicken a little more flavor. Recommend.

Aw, man! I’ll be on an airplane during that Madewell event. Brings back memories of that meet up at Madewell at Southpoint years ago. I met Molly Stillman at that one. I think it was the second time I met you and Lauren and Carrie.

I watched Adrift for the first time last week. It haunted me for days. It was very well done.

I would love to know the hand lotion you mentioned in Instagram stories that you carry with you all the time. You got it from Ulta. I would love to give it a try. Thanks for your help!

Thank you for posting the chicken options! I’ve been eating the same chicken crock pot meal for lunch for the past two weeks- it’s refreshing to have some different lunch ideas!

I just may pop over to Crabtree. It’s my day off, but I may be in Topsail helping my BFF pack up what is left of her home…

I never saw them at ALDI, but my Walmart carries those enormous (and wonderful!) NordicWare baking sheets!
