A simple popover top

I found this popover blouse online at J.Crew and after a closer look I saw that it didn’t have a collar so I immediately put it in my cart. I don’t know why, but I’m not a huge fan of collared shirts. They look so dang great on so many other people, but I just don’t think I can really pull it off very well!

But a blousy shirt with buttons to make nursing easy without a collar? Well that’s pretty much perfect.

This top is not see through, though I do wonder if the white or light pink shades would be, and is a loose, relaxed fit. And honestly, it’s one of those tops that can work year round.

Beautiful top! I love those earrings too. The yellow color looks like gold, which makes them so versatile! Since they are on sale I think I may need to add to cart right now…

Very cute! Love a nice loose blouse when I’m not in the mood to worry about my tummy hanging out.

Very cute! I was totally sold and then saw it was dry clean only… 🙁 Ain’t nobody got time for that! Lol!

I acquired a lot of button shirts during my nursing escapades! New York and Company has similar tops without the whole need to dry clean…uhg!

I like a collar because I feel like I can wear my hair up. When I don’t have a collar and try to wear my hair up, I feel like a giraffe because I have a long neck.

Bought two of these tops after seeing it on you! Do you dry clean yours?
