Summer Dresses

How do you keep your blonde bright?

one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine

I hardly have a reason to get dressed up these days, and sometimes I miss it! Don’t get me wrong, I’m a total jeans and tee kind of girl, but I love the occasional feminine dress! I usually dress up a bit more than usual for church on Sunday, but otherwise I keep it casual for the rest of the week.

My brother is getting married later this summer so I’ll have a bridal shower and then the actual wedding to attend over the next few months! Dressing a postpartum body can be a little challenging, but I’ve already been browsing around to see if I can find something that will work for nursing and still be flattering.

The good news? There are so many cute dresses available right now that it’s almost hard to choose!

This orange one from Gap is so dang cute, I love the ruffles around the bottom. And this white one from Anthropologie isn’t exactly appropriate for a wedding or bridal shower (unless you’re the bride!) but I love how summery and light it looks! I’m also loving this dress with a cute tassel detail.

Do you wear dresses in the spring and summer or stick with shorts and a tee? I’m loving all the midi lengths (like this one!) that work well for chasing little kids around while still wearing a dress!

I love that faux wrap J.Crew Factory dress. It’s so pretty and the faux wrap style is so much more convenient. For wedding dresses, I got a GMG collection dress for a wedding I recently attended and the quality is beautiful! A Definitely worth checking out! Happy Shopping, xAllie

I have a couple from Milk Nursingware that I love as well – comfortable, cute, and easy for nursing/pumping. For more of a splurge, I also love Boob Design. I have two of their dresses that are great for when I need to look more professional at work, but also need access for pumping.

Our climate is so changeable in the UK that shorts weather is fairly short lived! I like wearing tunics and
cropped leggings and find they work well for running about with the kids.
Always grab the opportunity to wear a dress for an evening out though.

Have you checked out Latched Mama? They have some cute dresses that are nursing friendly! I have a bunch of their tank tops and a dress for summer and they’re a breeze to nurse in.

You are like a gentle cloud floating in front of my eyes, your beautiful and elegant face with a beautiful spring smile. In your big, bright eyes, I can always catch your peace, your warmth, your intelligence, your sensitivity.
