A Plaid Dress

next
NYC in January: what we did, ate, and saw!

We had a moment of warmth and sunshine earlier this week, and while I totally planned on wearing this dress with tights or leggings, I had to take advantage of the fresh air and just throw on some booties. Sorry for subjecting you all to my pasty white winter legs, but when you are excited for fresh air, you dive in deep.

For about 10 minutes, I actually had the doors to my house wide open to let the air and breeze wash in, but then I had to close them up. It was nice while it lasted.

I’m starting to have more options as far as maternity clothes go, which is a nice change from the last month or so. I could really get by wearing a lot of what I already had, but now that I have spring on my mind, I’m starting to shop around for some good spring-like clothing options for the bump! I’ve never gotten to dress a third trimester baby bump in the spring and I’m enjoying the variety in what I’m finding!

Old Navy has some really, REALLY cute new releases that I’m very happy with. These basic tees are just PERFECT for the bump, and I also fell in love with this top as soon as I put it on.

dress, booties (on sale!), bag, sunglasses (similar)

I linked a few other great dresses below, and I’ll share more finds soon for those of you shopping for maternity clothes!

You are looking fantastic! I’m a sucker for anything plaid, but a plaid dress with floral decals! Even better! 😉

I know I’m commenting a lot, sorry!
But I had to say – you look so awesome! Can’t wait to meet your little one! I wish this dress was available in more categories than maternity 🙂

So cute! Your hair and makeup always looks so pretty. I aired out my whole apartment too when it warmed up the other day – sometimes it’s so stuffy from having the dry heat on!
