My go-to eyeshadow palette

When my nausea and extreme fatigue hit HARD in my first trimester, I quit going to bootcamp. I missed it terribly and thought I would pick it up again after I pressed through those first 12 weeks or so. As it turns out, I decide to choose an exercise option that was a little less jumping/burpees so I wouldn’t have to modify so many parts of it. I joined a local gym that has a locker room with SHOWERS which makes my life much easier, and I’ve been trying out all sorts of different Aaptiv workouts on my phone. I love them so much. You can choose the difficulty level, and even the duration of the exercise as well! My favorite trainer is Mike from the Strength Training section!

I’m more of a slip on sneaker and bootie girl but I love these little flats!

I made this for a get together with friends recently, and while it was delicious, I felt it was missing a little pop of something. A few of the other guests added a splash of rum or vodka, but for those of us that aren’t drinking I’m trying to think of one more ingredient to add. I’d love your help, check out the recipe and tell me what you would add in!

Look at all these amazing playgrounds!

These are pretty ear crawlers!

If you need a new book recommendation!

I love reading about what apps other people are loving, and this post opened my eyes to a new video app!

I’m usually not that into bangles but I thought this set was so pretty!

I’ve been living in my Splendid waffle cardigans, as always. And I mentioned these maternity leggings on Instastories a few weeks ago, but I’ve gotten to many follow up questions I wanted to share them again!

We are in the tundra, also known as Wisconsin, for Christmas and loving these FREEZING temperatures! All we need now is some snow and we’ll be the happiest people on the planet!

When we used to live in Northern Virginia we would play at Clemeyjontri Playground. You should definitely take the boys next time you visit your sister….. and take an extra set of eyes….. itโ€™s huge!!!

Add some fresh lime juice to the spritzer ๐Ÿ™‚ lime makes everything more delicious!

I was going to say lime juice and bitters. I know bitters have alcohol, but itโ€™s such a tiny amount, I feel like it doesnโ€™t actually count.

How about if you cut down on the sugar in the recipe and added some cinnamon simple syrup?

Reply

I thought similar to you, but maybe add star anise in addition to the cinnamon for a bit more spice

Maybe using part ginger beer with ginger ale to give a bit of a bite?

I second the ginger beer for bite!

Good quality ginger beer instead of simple ginger ale would add more of a kick. In the Seattle area we have Bedfords, but you can probably find Gosling brand pretty much everywhere.

I would use ginger beer instead of ginger ale, and add a dash of bitters and/or a teaspoon of vanilla! (The vanilla will make it seem like you added rum.) Thank you for the links!

Super interested in the workout app!! Is it easy to follow being that there is no visual? I would be doing mostly strength training and am nervous I wouldn’t fully understand what the exercise should look like

I find it very easy to follow! I think there is a trial period where you can give it a shot for a bit too!

If you liked the modernmrsdarcy.com list of books, listen to her podcast. I discovered it earlier this year, have listened to the all the episodes, and now have an overflowing To Be Read shelf and list.

I would love snow too! The snow disappearing literally two days ago when temps hit the 40s. Such a bummer. Iโ€™m hoping for flurries!

I recently saw a blog post on Tasty Kitchen for a cranberry and thyme gin & tonic. Maybe try combining techniques from both recipes?

I am thinking of buying the gel nail kit you recommend on Amazon but I have 2 questions— How do you get the polish off? Can you use any brand of Gel nail polish or does it have to be the Gellish brand?

Thanks
Amy
