I got my nails done the other day and I picked the same color that I’ve been choosing for the last year or so. Well, the same color this SEASON. I tend to change up my nail polish for the seasons, and right now I’ve been loving the light creamy whites, or very, VERY subtle grey shades on my nails. It’s still pretty warm and soupy here in Raleigh, so dark grey nails just don’t feel right quite yet! Once it get’s a little cooler I’m sure I’ll be reaching for Essie’s Chinchilly or OPI You Don’t Know Jacques!
Do you wear the same color on your finger and toe nails? I typically don’t but I find that these soft mauve-y grey purple shades work really well on both! I’m not a huge fan of white toned nail polish on my toes, so a light grey is as light as I’ll go!
If you prefer to polish your own nails, you MUST watch this tutorial. If you follow the steps you’ll have the best manicure in town. My favorite polish to use at home is Gel Couture or Vinylux! Neither of these are gel, despite the confusing name, and you must use the polish and top coat within the same system for the best results!
P.S. speaking of fall/winter, this looks like the perfect basic tee!
