A Versatile Stripe Dress

next
A quick blow dry tip

I always go for dresses with some kind of cinching at the waist area, but every once in awhile I’ll choose something based on two factors alone: cuteness factor and comfort.

I tried this dress on with Ari and my sister when I was at Trunk Club in Chicago a few months ago, and my sister and I immediately agreed that this would be perfect for our trip to Palmetto Bluff this month.

It could work poolside or be dressed up a bit to be worn around town. It’s made of the nicest, lightweight material that breathes. I’m sure I’ll get a ton of use out of this in the summertime.

I found some similar style options from a few other favorites stores, in case you are like me and needed to have something like this in your closet! You can find those linked below!

p.s. a cute striped swimsuit cover up!

Lately, I’ve avoided dresses that cinch around the waist, just because it feels freer to have a loose dress. I think loose fits have been on trend anyway!

I love the fringe gives your dress a little fun touch! Also, it goes so well with your clutch, so cute <3

Items like this are so useful, love it when you find something that cute and versatile! Love the fringing along the bottom (and your clutch is adorable!)

I’m all about this fringe! I love how this could easily be dressed up or down. Now, I just need this weather to cooperate so I can live without a jacket!

Love the loose fit and the fringe. It looks beautiful on you! Ps: love that you went back to your “signature” hair length. The long was also beautiful, but this hair and shorter just seem so…YOU! you even seem happier and more comfortable in your skin with this length, if that makes sense? Sorry, I hope none of this is coming off rude or as an insult. Basically: you can do no wrong….Its all beautiful, but loving this shorter do on you. Blessings!

I have a couple of dresses like this too and I always wonder what people wear as undergarments?? I have kids so bending over happens frequently. Do you wear normal undergarments or a short of some type? Thanks!
