Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip swatches + review

Given the nature of what I do here on the blog, I’ll occasionally receive new product launches from brands. These always come without any strings attached, and I usually show samples of what I received on Snapchat! But for some reason, these stunning Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip colors were just screaming at me to be swatched here on the blog.

So, this isn’t sponsored. I was sent these products as a gift.

I own the Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Dusty Pink that I used here. It’s a chubby pencil that goes on vibrant but wears quite matte. But this latest launch is liquid, and has an angled tip for applying the product to your lips. It claims an 8 hour wear but I haven’t put that to the true test yet, like I did with these.

From left to right: Naked Pink, Lily, Honey Care, English Rose, Vintage Pink, Perfect Nude, Azalea, Pink Punch, Plum Noir, Boysenberry, Rich Red, Cherry, Uber Red

I tried Lily on first because it stuck out as a fun hot pink! I love that the product isn’t runny like some liquid lipsticks can be. It goes opaque and stays that way! This is the kind of lipstick you need to apply with a mirror, but once you are done, it won’t budge. It felt a tiny bit thick on my lips, but still buttery and hydrating so I didn’t mind it. I imagine after a few hours that would fade away.

Overall, such a fun thing to try and I’m sure 2-5 will be in a regular rotation for me!

My earrings are from Madewell.

Is your new cut a long bob? Is the front a bit longer? Just getting my very long hair cut and trying to get some pointers to tell my hair dresser.

These look interesting. I us ually go for either a lipstick or a lipgloss rather than a pencil, but maybe it’s time for a change!

I always over look Bobbi Brown, but the Perfect Nude shades looks stunning. Think I need to go and have a nose at one of their counters!

Hi Kate!

New reader to your blog, I enjoy your variety of posts! 🙂

I switched to natural and organic makeup a few years ago, and I was just wondering if you had ever considered using natural/organic makeup brands. The Bobbi Brown sticks look ok at the beginning of the ingredient list, but toward the end, there is a host of chemical colours. Just a thought!

My experience with Bobbi Brown is quite limited, but these look fun. Lily looks like such a fun colour; like it would be perfect for spring and summer!
I’m really interested in trying these out now.
