Dark Florals

Cozy and Neutral Fall Decor

I was *flying* through TJ Maxx the other day with David and saw this floral top just hanging there begging to be scooped up and placed in my cart. I’m not a huge pattern/floral kind of gal, but I believe it’sĀ on trend according to this chick, so I bought it. It’s loose, the back is a little bit longer and scoops down, and it’s easy to wear.

My jeans are AG Farrah High Rise

I paired it with these ankle boots versus my lace up flats because I didn’t want to be overly feminine and girly. The jewelry was simple, which is totally my jam, and I instantly felt a little bit more put together.

I found it at TJ Maxx, but I thought I’d also share a few other dark florals that have caught my eye online recently!

Once it gets a bit cooler, I’d like to find a sweater that runs a bit short to wear on top, and just let a little bit of the florals peek through! Have you found any floral items for fall? Share in the comments!

More trends I’m loving here and here!Ā My jeans are AG Farrah High Rise

I immediately thought the “Thea” seed stitch pullover would work perfect for layering! And it’s on sale at Nordstrom right now! ??

I tried that shirt on and subsequently passed it up at my TJ Maxx last week, but now I’m wondering why?! It looks great on you!

Hi Katie,
Do you know what brand the shirt is?
Thanks!

Love the whole outfit! And love TJ Maxx!
Could you please do a tutorial for your everyday hair, like in the photos? Mine is about the same length and all as yours, but I can’t get it all to flow same way/direction like yours is. I get curls going here, there and everywhere.

Love this post! You look great. I may have to get that scarf – I’ve been eyeing a similar one from LOFT that’s way more expensive. The h&m one looks SO similar for only $10!

I’ve never really owned many florals, but they really suit you.

I don’t usually love florals, but I love this!

I love this look! Your hair breaks up the pattern beautifully. I agree that big florals can overwhelm quickly, but you can always tone down with a jacket or cardigan.

Super cute! I don’t like many patterns in my tops, but occasionally really enjoy a smallish floral, either light or dark background and that one is simple and cute. Are your boots from Clarks?

My day just got 1000x better! I wish I could post a pic because we’re wearing basically the exact same outfit (Farrah jeans, Taupe booties, and a silk floral hi-lo shirt). I must be so hip! ? I love wearing silky shirts to look a little more put together but still comfy.

This is my favorite blog! I have two boys (2 and 9 months) and just turned 30 this year so… #meanttobe keep up the great blog, hilarious snapchat, and positive spirit!!

Love from Washington, Lindsay
