bareMinerals BareSkin Foundation Review

I’ve been itching to do another gathering with bloggers for a few years.

For some reason, I could never get the ball rolling on it. It wasn’t the right time, and I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted it to encompass.

I often think back to my beginning days of blogging and remember all the things I did wrong or could have done better. I wish I had someone that I could ask what seemed like basic questions in order to help me find my way. I want to be a resource for bloggers that are interested in growing their blog. And I’m not only talking about numbers and readers here, but growing it to become a site you are really proud of and pour your heart into.

Photography is an essential element to blogging and when I met Jordan I knew she would “complete” what I wanted to offer in a workshop.

You may remember from these photos she took of David, in the short time I’ve known her, she has taught me more about photography than I’ve ever learned in the 5 years of owning my Nikon. She explains concepts that seem complicated to me in a way that is really easy to understand.

On June 29th we are hosting the first Type & Click workshop at Gather in Cary, NC. Have you heard of Gather? Oh my goodness it’s just about the most charming shop, coffee bar and co-working space I’ve ever set foot in.

type&clickworkshop

What are a few things to expect at Type & Click? Half the time will be spent on blogging (from basic practices to working with brands/utilizing pinterest/videos/collaboriations/etc) and the other half will be spent on photophgray (staging/lighting/everything else that will help you take better photos). It will be a small group (only 25 people), so it should encourage conversation and networking in a really intimate setting.

More details will be shared on Monday when the tickets go on sale!

We have been excidetly planning for a few weeks now and cannot wait until the end of June.

If you are interested, check back here Monday morning at 8am for all the details and to buy your ticket! The early bird rate is $75 and starts Monday morning!

Oh how fun!! This sounds awesome! I’m in Richmond, so I’d be about 2 1/2 hours away, but maybe I could get some bloggers here to take a road trip with me 🙂

Oh, this is awesome! I’m still kicking myself for not going to the Brand Market. I’m so glad you attended. So, I’m so excited you are doing this. I’m in Lynchburg VA, so it’s an easy couple of hours to get there. I will check back on Monday for tickets!

I am looking for an eye liner. I use bobbi brown right now. It’s the eye shadow powder and I add a little water to apply it. They have changed the color an it’s no longer working for me. Could you recommend something else. Thank you!

How I WISH I could go to this! 🙁 (Texas girl) Is there anywhere info and tips from the workshop will be posted? I’d still love to get tips about getting the ball rolling on my blog even though I can’t be there in person.
