Loved the advice for going back to your original hair color. I always color and highlight my own hair and am never satisfied. I think I am ready to try a stylist. Lowlights may be something I need to try.

Great tips! I recently coloured my hair a copper red, and I’m trying to get back to my natural colour, which is a dirty/strawberry blonde. Would it be best to incorporate the red back in, or add highlights? Thank you πŸ™‚

Thank you for sharing this Kate! Since having my daughter (22 months old) my natural hair color got REALLY dark (aaah!) I’ve been letting it grow, but have not been sure what to do with it, so your video was helpful. Off to the salon! πŸ™‚

KMS Makeover Spray Dry Shampoo…I am not sure if it is that my hair is a dark brown or I’m using it too close. I have the white powder residue left in after I blend it in *as much as possible* I tried to return it at the salon, but the stylist claims it doesn’t leave the white residue and maybe i’m using it too close. I think it’s because my hair is very dark…who’s right?

Hi! Your videos make it all look so easy..but I know that it wouldn’t be that easy for me! Question for you…I have “thickish” but very fine hair, what can I add to my hair so that I can keep a loose curl in my hair? My hair is so straight and fine that in order to keep a curl I have to add a lot of moose prior to curling and/or tons of hairspray afterwards…neither make a natural looking curl. Even your video on how to have a straight “do’, but it looked textured and bouncy…my hair would never do that. Any tips? I use conditioner daily just so I can get a comb/brush through it..could this be my problem? Again..super fine hair..to the point of swinging my hair a little bit and I have tangles. ugh…

I was wanting to cut my hair and get some highlights! I love your length , because even though it’s short it’s long enough to style , I’d love to know what to tell my hair stylist! My hair is light brown with some blonde highlights and I’d say it’s a between thick and thin but it also is kinda flat but your tips help with volume! I really want somthing that’s like your hair length! I’ll love that I can have short hair but style it everyday different and for diffrent occasions (: please help!!! I wanna start a new school year off diffrent (:

Hi Kate! My name’s Brooke and I’m 15 years old. My hair never wants to do what I want it to do. Every day at school I wear a pony tail because I just have no patience with my hair because it won’t let me do anything to it. I’ve been trying out your tutorials on all the different types of curls and my hair just won’t stay or even come out to what I want it to look like. My hair is very thick but has no style to it. I was just wondering if maybe you had some tips on what products I should use to give my hair the volume and stabilization it needs when doing my hair. Please reply! Thank you!!:)

Any tips for growing out bangs? Or the best styles to wear while growing them out so it is less noticeable?

Hi Kate!
What a relief it was to find your blog! thank you very much for the tutorials and advice! you are beautiful to watch and follow your example πŸ™‚ I wish you were my stylist! :))

One thing you probably hasn’t covered yet due to the state of your hair is Grey hair. Grey color is also my favorite but not when it comes to hair color.. πŸ™

I see now that I’ve made a mistake of going to a darker color when coloring the grey hairs. What would you advise me to do now?

I used to be very light brown, the dictionary says this color may be also called chestnut, and after grey hair appeared the stylist my friend took me to colored me darker brown. At that time I’ve long forgotten the way to the hair stylist as I was sitting with a baby and, to tell the truth, I’ve never been too much into caring about my beauty. But now, when the Spring has come :))))))))))))))) I’ve decided to somehow make myself prettier :)))

Besides color I have this issue with hair, I guess it’s because it’s gotten longer, it is no more comfortable for me to wash it! it get stuck on my fingers, tangled and blah…. makes me nervous.. I nearly hate to wash it.. should I visit the shrink? :))))))))))))))))))))))))

Sincerely,
Oksana
