The link for the MAC eyeliner seems to go to a product other than what you listed.

I love this All Time Favorites series! Can’t wait for the next installment. 🙂 The Cover Girl lash blast and Tarte amazonian clay blushes are my favorites too! The layering tip was brilliant! I hadn’t thought of that.

Is there a way to try the Arbonne foundation? Is it only sold through consultants or online? I’m nervous to try it for fear I’d pick the wrong shade!

Reply
Kate says · 12.02.13

Yep, only sold through consultants. Look into their return policy

Reply
Stefanie Joseph says · 12.02.13

Danielle, I’d love to send you a sample swatch! I actually became a consultant because if the foundation which I learned about in Kate’s blog! Email at [email protected]!

I have more questions about the foundation. I do not like it when people can see my foundation lay on my skin and I feel like a lot do no matter how much face scrub I use. I’m going to email you but wanted let you know here too.

Have you ever tried the eyelash primer from Estee Lauder? I started using it a few years ago and I love it! By the way you are hilarious in this video. Love it.

Carly says · 12.02.13

I use the same eye primer…..LOVE it!

Could you do a top 5 or 10 favorite lip sticks/glosses of all time?

Reply

I have got to try Bobbi Brown’s corrector already! I’ve heard/read so many great things and I am consistently at war with the bags/circles/darkness under my eyes. I’ve been contemplating trying it for so long now (around a year or so) so I think it’s time to pull the trigger.

Is there a link to the Favorite Hair Products video? I can’t find it anywhere (probably I’m looking right at it and just don’t see it). Had a great time looking at the other stuff on your blog, though. 🙂

Painterly Paint Pot by MAC is my favorite eye primer too! I know exactly what you mean by primers that make your shadow stick and never move. Paint pots are so great because you get the staying power, but you can still blend your shadows. 🙂

Hey Kate!! I was wondering if you have heard of the makup line Younique. It is a fairly new company and I would love for you to browse our products and would love to send you something to try for free. Our 3D Fiber Lash mascara is our #1 seller. https://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youniqueproducts.com%2FCaraHayes%2Fproducts%2Flanding&h=uAQGwVdXWAQGh8d15PqPiqp0NB9eqEa30CLbmbnkX4NCX_w&s=1

Hi there! Just wondering if you have ever tried a mascara primer? Lancôme makes a pretty good one. It’s just a way of plumping up the lashes before adding the color of mascara. You might find it helpful…I did!! Thanks for all of your great tips!

Okay, you are getting oh so close to welcoming your little bundle of joy. I am due in January. I am so hoping you have done the research and are preparing a list of things to pack for the hospital (baby, mom, and dad). I’ve been reading your blog for a while now and we seem fairly similar in style and preparation. I’m a Gap girl and was very excited when you reminded me to order some baby gowns the other day. I have been looking around the internet but I’m curious to see what you would call essential for your hospital bags. You could post before you go and then possibly do an update for things you didn’t need or things you wished you had. Also, are you hoping to be able to style your hair and makeup before you head out the door, or is this not crossed your mind? Pictures will be taken, lol. Have a great day. Thanks for all your post, you have introduced me to some great styling products.

I first want to say that you are such an INSPIRATION!!! Not only for make-up enthusiasts, but also the “everyday” folks, most appreciated! I know you have mentioned before that you are not a fan when it comes to bronzers, but was wondering if you had to choose one, what brand and liquid vs. powder would you recommend. Again, thank you for all you do!!!

I love Lancome primer and mascara as well. No need for the oscillating mascara. I used to buy it on my birthday and not have it year round. Now I budget it in year round, love it!

This is awesome! Also a first time commenter. The thing I found the most adorable is your pregnant “out of breath” sound. I remember that for some reason I always sounded like that too (perhaps the baby crushing all of your organs!), but it makes me think “ohhhh there is a baby coming REAL soon!” Congrats!
