Contour & Highlight Palette

A Life Update

I was traveling this past weekend and thought to myself, “I wish there was a contouring palette that I could travel with instead of bringing everything individually.”

So I was wandering around Target yesterday and saw this palette by NP Set and realized it was pretty much exactly what I had in mind.
I shot a little tutorial video to show you how to use it. I love the warmth it adds to my face! The blush goes on heavy, to be aware of that, but with a little practice I think you can master these shades to create a beautiful contour and highlight!

I love contouring and highlighting. I can’t believe it took me this long to start doing it. I am looking for a new set. I will have to see of those colors are good for me. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you so much for posting this! I have the worst time trying to figure out how to contour and highlight. Maybe I’ll be able to do it now.

Oh my goodness, I love that! It’d be perfect for my dance bag when I go to performances, instead of lugging “the arsenal.” Just wish it was in my budget! You get what you pay for in makeup, right? Definitely going to have to save up for this one!

Thanks so much for this great tutorial! I’m still a bit apprehensive about h&c because of my fair freckled skin but I’m going to give this a try!

I love all your posts and seldom comment, but had to click over to say … you look great! I don’t know if it’s the special highlight/contour/blush set or the dark navy top, but THIS is a great look for you! I know your Go To color is grey, but this navy color really warms up your coloring and makes your eyes POP.

I went to target today to get this and they didn’t have any NP products. So I went over to Ulta and they had never heard of this set. Sad day for me!!

This looks lovely on you! How does it compare to the Bare Minerals Color Boost that you used in a previous post to add warmth? I was thinking about buying that, but this palette seems like a better deal! I’d love to know your thoughts.

P.S. – I agree with the previous posters, you look absolutely radiant in navy! 🙂

Thanks for this! We don’t have a Target nearby, but I did pick up a contouring palette by Cover Girl and tried it tonight. I really like it! This might make me wear blush and bronzer a little more often!

I spotted Grits!! Did you notice his ghost around 3:52?? lol His reflection in the cabinet anyway. Thanks for the post – love the contouring – I’ve been meaning to try this technique… 🙂

I love the Naked Flushed Pallete by urban decay, it is a staple in my makeup bag. It has a bronzer, highlight, and blush. The blush seems more pink than the one in the NP set.

Really thinking about getting this pallet, thanks for the video!! I loved your lipstick in this post, but MAC just isn’t in my budget 🙁 So I went searching for a good dupe last night, and my FAVORITE lip product of all time has a good one!! It’s Revlon Colorstay Overtime in Eternal Rose. This stuff NEVER comes off, I’m wearing it today and can’t stop looking in the mirror 🙂

I use my Nars Danmari palette for this. It contains a bronzer, highlight, and 4 blushes. I wish Nars would come out with another palette like it again.
