Jessica Alba pretty much killed it at the Golden Globes, didn't she?
Not only did her side waves compliment her perfectly, but her orange/coral lip color was nearly as talked about as the awards themselves. That lip color is hard to wear, but she nailed it.
Today's tutorial is for Jessica's hair, and I'll share a few of my favorite orange-y coral lip colors too!
You'll need:
a comb, a 1.25 inch barrel curling iron (or a 1 inch with the heat turned way down), and hairspray.
Lip color: Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti
Start with a gloss, or sheer orange/coral shade if you are apprehensive about wearing it. If you like it, go bold with an opaque lip color!

I love this! Quick question though- when I tease my hair, it gets really frizzy and I can't get it to smooth down nicely without combing it all out. Any tips?
ReplyDeleteIn the video, I show you how to use your comb to smooth the top part of your hair out, try that. Otherwise, stick to teasing the lower portion of your hair instead of the very top layers!
Deleteyay! jessica alba is my "hair idol." this is so pretty! please do more tutorials of her hairstyles :)

ReplyDeletewhat a fabulous Tutorial....would you think of creating a tutorial for a beginner like me that can't even get the curling iron in my hair. You make it look simple and I sam sure it is after a beginning lesson on basics of using a curling iron ...even you facing in the opposite direction so I can follow you? I have spent the whole week watching all and enjoying and purchasing all of you suggested products even took your pics you posted for a new cut! ...now I can't seem to use the curing iron not sure of how to even hold it! I purchased Zumba CDs when they first came out to do at home and I couldn't follow since the instructor was facing me! I had to give them away...are there others out there like me???? Helps!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all you do you are truly an inspiration to so many a of us.
