Grey, Lace and Purple






lace top: Madewell
grey vest: Banana Republic (old), similar
jeans: Loft Modern Flare (the closest I've found to my favorite J.Crew jeans!)
ankle boots: Target
necklace: c/o VeryJane

I love how many different ways I can wear this lace top from Madewell (here, here). I also found some jeans that are pretty darn close to my favorite J.Crew jeans. You should go check them out if you are in the market for a new pair!

  14. I noticed a week or so ago you posted on IG about helping a friend and fellow blogger how to make up new outfits out of pieces already
    in your closet. That would make a great post (hint, hint). They did an article in People StyleWatch this month about doing something similar and it would be nice to see it in the real world.

    I've noticed that you say "The Loft" in all your posts - it's actually just "Loft," as in, "I got this at Loft the other day." It's not The Banana Republic, or The Target! Haha sorry that's just been bugging me!

I was watching a special last night about the JCrew CEO and they mentioned that he was a part of creating the successful spinoff of JCrew, Madewell (he also created Old Navy and revamped Banana Republic when he was with Gap). I was not surprised to see how much you love Madewell considering it's affiliated with JCrew, I thought of the blog immediately. I love when successful brands try new things, it gives us more options without changing what works in the first brand. He's an amazing man!
