Help! I'm running out of creativity!
We have one more week of 30x30 and I'm running low on ideas. Thankfully I noticed that I haven't worn much of this top so I paired it with my last two skirts.
I wish I would have chosen a dress, and more neutral pieces.
But, we'll see if I can create four more outfits next week. I hope so.
This first outfit is light and summery. But it requires a belt. The top is too wide to be worn without one!
And of course. . .my default grey skirt. It simply goes with everything. Literally, I could wear it with just about everything in my closet, and I love that.

Have a great day!
Really liking those wedges. Wish they were still available. A good neutral wedge on a budget is hard to find!
ReplyDeletei found those shoes at Marshall's in St. Louis :)
DeleteI love Lisa's Pearl by Pearl earrings and the Fine Feather Necklace. So cute!
ReplyDeleteI love that shirt! The color is great on you. What a great find!

Both outfits are pretty. The skirt is great; very versatile. The color of the top is striking.
ReplyDeleteLoooove gray, especially when it's paired with a bright color like that awesome coral!

Dainty and Decadent
I think the top outfit is my favorite of all the outfits you've posted so far! It looks so easy but very coordinated at the same time. I love your accessories.
ReplyDeletei noticed that you haven't worn the orange and brown sandals yet (i think they were Bandolino?)
ReplyDeleteThey would be cute to make another outfit with the above clothes, right?
I really love the first outfit, both are SUPER CUTE but I'm a sucker for anything with a belt. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I really need to try this. Have you saved a lot of money by not shopping?
ReplyDeleteYou spelled "pieces" wrong! :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! Love the outfits and your blog!
ReplyDeleteI loved the pretty like a bow necklace and the anchor bracelet. So cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity about these outfits. I haven't quite warmed to the whole belt idea yet, I just don't feel like it looks right on me. I see all of these outfits on Pinterest where the person finds clever ways to tie the belt, but I just can't make it work. Any thoughts?
ReplyDeleteoh love these, kate!! that grey skirt is such a good closet staple
ReplyDeleteI love both of these! You look great!
ReplyDeleteI have LOVED following your 30x30 challenge. I know you say you wish you'd chosen more neutral pieces, but I've not found myself bored or feeling like you're "wearing all the same things." I think you did a great job with your selections! It's been quite inspirational actually - I just still don't know if I can do it!!!
ReplyDeleteThis may be my favorite 30x30 so far. You look so good in orange with your skin tone and blonde hair! The first picture is totally adorable!
ReplyDeleteTurquoise sweater with orange skirt, and use neutral accessories!! ~ Kelly
ReplyDeleteOr skinny jeans, turquoise tee, grey sweater, grey wedges with the turquoise j crew necklace??
DeleteLove the orange top! What a great shade for August. The nights are getting coolers here in Minnesota, and this orange hue gets me thinking about all the fun fall shades that are just right around the corner.
ReplyDeleteKate- I too really like the orange colored top, just stunning!
ReplyDeleteI love the brightness this shirt give your complexion. Beautiful combination!
