If you have very thick hair, you'll need more bobby pins (and probably the strong hold type that can be found at Sally Beauty Supply), however medium or thin hair is a great texture to work with on this style!

ReplyDeleteI love your short hair picture. I love your tutorials, but my hair is too short for most of them. Do you have any tips on how to curl short hair like in your wedding picture??
ReplyDeleteYou looked BEAUTIFUL at your wedding!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous bride, and still gorgeous. Can't decide if I like your hair short or longer, you pull off both fantastically. :) Always enjoy coming to your blog.
ReplyDeleteKara
I LOVE yur wedding dress, stunning! And your hair looks great considering it was quite short at the time. Are you growing your hair longer now? And your 'bangs' (we call it a fringe here in the UK!!) I'm copying your hair alot lately and my 'fringe' is growing out like yours but it is getting on my nerves already - I tend to do the 'twist' which is great now our weather has finally decided to warm up lol!! Great blog! xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteI love all of your hair tutorials! I wish you in my area to do my hair for a wedding in June.
ReplyDeleteAs ALWAYS - your hair is just awesome! I really appreciate your energy and positive outlook. I check in as often as possible to see what new hair styles and outfits you're showing off. :)

Thanks for the added photos from your wedding. You were a BEAUTIFUL bride!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your wedding pictures. I had the same colors!! This tutorial is perfect. I have a wedding this weekend and I have been trying to figure out my hair. I did not want to wear it down curly or all the way up. Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteYour wedding dress is absolutely gorgeous and I love that hairstyle on shorter hair! I'm cutting mine a couple of inches in a few days so that it's off my shoulders for the summer and I've been worrying a little, but seeing how cute your short hair was makes me excited!
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures!! The short hair you had at your wedding is exactly what I have been looking for. How would you describe your cut??
ReplyDeleteAww thanks so much for adding the photos!!! :)

ReplyDeleteThanks,
Stacy
You are so pretty. And, thanks, i will try this!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate!
ReplyDeleteI have short hair much like you had in your wedding but can NEVER figure out how to do it. It's semi-wavy .. not too thick. Do you have any other pictures of you with shorter hair? I just have a hard time getting it to curl with my layers. I'm growing it out now!
I was just going to ask you the same thing, ha, ha, as Victoria. I have hair that exact length now and am having a hard time with it. If you have any more pictures at that length..we'd love to see them!
ReplyDeleteYeah tracy! haha
ReplyDeletelove your hair shorter! you have gorgeous hair long or short, but short shows of your beautiful face even more ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the half-up. I'll have to try that. Here in the Houston area, we really need a hairstyle like that one! (:^)

O GUESS WHAT??!!
ReplyDeleteCatch this great feedback for you and your help-ful-ness...
I was in a wedding this weekend, and we were doing our own hair and makeup. I am NOT a hair person, so I got on your blog and watched a bunch of your videos and started trying hairstyles. Welllllll... not only did my own hair look good but I got to help several of the other girls with their hair too. WHAT? ME? Why yes, with your help! Thanks for sharing your *creative-ness* with me!!
And please, continue doing so!!
Love your ideas and enjoy your helpful and easy instructions!
ReplyDeleteI love your videos! I especially loved seeing pictures of your hair at your wedding. That is about the length my hair is. I would love more info on your cut at that time. I am thinking about getting long, side-swept bangs cut, but I am scared. It's been 10 years since I grew out my bangs and it wasn't a pretty process, so I don't want to regret getting bangs again. Any advice for me to tell the stylist?
