Today's tutorial is perfect for those of us wanting to subtly wear a braid. This is a very flattering and versatile style, that can be done on curly or straight hair.
My hair is long and really smooth and won't keep any style to it, even when I load it up with mousse and hairspray! Do you use anything special to give your hair the texture it has? I love the braid!
Love the look! I have tried something similar and it never looked right, now i understand why! As an elementary school teacher, this would be perfect for a nice style, but out of my face! Thank you!
Love your blog and the hair tutorials! I really want to try Aquage Uplifting foam but no one anywhere close to my town sells it...do you have any recomendations for a reputable online retailer? I just want to make sure I am buying a legitimate product.
Thank you so much for the great ideas, Kate! I love your blog! Question for you: what is your natural hair color? I have been brunette my entire life but have always wanted to go blonde. I LOVE your blonde hair..would you recommend going blonde after being a brunette forever? Too much maintenance?
I just recently found your blog while searching for hairstyle ideas for my upcoming wedding. I just love this blog! Fun, fresh, informative, and hip! I was wondering if you would consider doing a post and a tutorial on some wedding hairstyles? Ooh, what about some wedding day makeup tips/tutorials? Thanks for your fun blog.
Super cute! Who doesn't love a French braid! Love your blog and ALL your hairstyles! I would love to see more "do's" for the bangs. Like that 50s bump thing in the front that seems to be very popular. I can never seem to get it just right:/ yor ideas are always great and as always super cute. Keep em coming!!!:)
Kate-I love your hair! I'm looking for a new style (trying to grow out my bob) Do you have layers? If so how can i explain this style to my stylist? Ty;)
Just found your blog and love it. I LOVE the color of your hair in these pics. You gave the color on your FAQs, is this the colors you have now? And what is your natural hair color? Oh, just tried the double twist today. :)
I have been following your blog for a while and always love to see the new hairstyles. I tried Aquage uplifting foam and have fell in love with it. I did this hairstyle last week on straight hair and the next day after having sock buns in my hair did it with curly hair. I had many compliments even from hairdresser friends. Thanks for all your great ideas.
