We just moved from Alabama, where we had 1/4″ of snow every 5 years, to Colorado and everyone warned me that we were going to get SO MUCH SNOW. And guess what. We’ve had basically no snow and I’m so disappointed!

I don’t want a ton of snow but every once in awhile would be nice. The ear warmer would come in handy though because the wind is awful here!

1. I used to live in the mountains, and I would dream of a winter with no snow. Now I live in the South, and miss the snow! (go figure!) so I think my answer is I would like a little of both. I would love to experience a white Christmas, and then the snow can go away and be mild again. A girl can dream, right? Love this ear warmer!!!

I would love love love to have a cold winter with tons of snow! Although cleaning my car off, and trudging through the snowy city of Pittsburgh can be a hassle sometimes, I think this city is at its finest when it’s covered in snow! 🙂 Pittsburgh has a lot of gloomy and rainy weather throughout the year – we’ve even had some days like that in December and January this winter – and when the snow covers the ground it not only gives everyone a new perspective of their day, but a new perspective on the city also. It’s simply stunning.

I have lived in Arizona for the majority of my life but have spent a few years in Oklahoma and Utah. After experiencing many different seasons I really think I would love a heavy winter with the opportunity to escape to somewhere warm when I get the winter blues. But I have to say I love my AZ winters it keeps me pretty happy and I do enjoy going to the cabin when we want to be chilly.

I was born and raised in california, so needless to say I am a sun, sand and ocean kind of girl. I moved to a small town outside of reno where it snows. We dont get alot of snow but we do get it. My kids and my husbadnd love love love the snow and are snowboarding addicts. I didnt realize I loved and needed the snow until this year when we didnt have a white christmas and this last weekend was our first snow fall and today it is all gone. I have been sad and kind of depressed and when i woke up to see the snow it was so pretty and it gave me a huge smile. Last year we had our first snow storm that actually closed down the schools and I am hoping for more snow storms like that this year. I am going to call in sick to work and cuddle in a blanket on the couch and watch a movie or read a good book while its snowing. All while my husband and kids chomp at the bit to go snowboarding. Up until this past weekend we havent had snow or rain and I think if im going to freeze my you know what off there needs to be a reason- bring on the snow!! [email protected]

Honestly, at this point we have had a very abnormally mild winter. Basically what that means for us is it’s very MUDDY. We’re getting the same amount of precipitation, but instead of it being snow it’s been rain, creating mud like we usually just have in the spring. I probably would have used to say I’d rather have a mild winter, but right now, I keep finding myself wanting the temps to drop so that we’ll have snow instead of mud.

I live in Arkansas and we always say “If you don’t like the weather right now, just wait 5 minutes and it will change again!” Which is SO true! However, when it comes to winter time, I prefer a mild winter with one good stay-home-for-a-day (or two) snow storm. We are due for our snow, which usually comes in late January, early February. The super cute knitted ear warmer would be perfect for when the snow does come! Even better will be when it’s football season again and the wind is making my ears chilly, just pull out the ear warmer and voila!

I would rather have a cold winter with tons of snow. We had a great winter last year and the year before when my daughter was a baby, but now that she’s old enough to enjoy it, it has only snowed once and maybe an inch or two. Plus, I think the snow makes things look pretty and quiet. Driving is the only problem, but it’s a good reason to stay in and have family time. E-mail: [email protected]

Whether or not it could ever occur slim to none. In the part of NC that I am in we have not had a drop yet and it will be February in a week. Happy Tuesday 🙂

We normally have pretty cold winters here (OHIO) but we’ve been lucky so far. Since I have 2 kiddos, we have a lot of fun playing in the snow. I guess I would have to say cold winter with LOTS of snow 🙂

It totally depends on where I’m living at the time. I’ve I’m living in a place with mountains, I would prefer cold with tons of snow so I can ski. If I’m a place without mountains, I would choose mild with little snow. Winter is uglier without a lot of snow, but if there are no mountains I can accept the ugliness!

A cold winter with lots of snow! I live in Utah and we finally have snow on the ground that has lasted more than a day. Usually by this time of year we have a few feet. I don’t like winter with no snow. [email protected]

I would much prefer a cold, harsh winter with a TON of snow! I love dressing in layers and I would much rather be really cold if I had to be cold at all! That in-between stuff is no fun (which is exactly the way it is, here in Kentucky!) Plus, I love the snow, and school days 🙂

I love winter only because of the snow … well, and it’s my birthday in November! I live in Edmonton, Alberta so our winters are usually very frigid – I’m talking -30 to -40 and colder with the wind chill. This year we have had an unusually warm winter so I’ve been missing the huge snowfalls. A headband from Three Bird Nest would be wonderful for our winters though!

I liked Three Bird Nest on Facebook! And I let them know too 🙂

We have had a really odd winter in MN this year… no snow, 40˚+ days into January and then winter finally arrived last week with lots of snow and cold temps! I am loving the snow, but am wishing for the warmer days of Spring so my toddler and I can get outside without spending 20 minutes bundling up! However, we would not appreciate the warmth of spring without the cold and snow of winter. So I vote for a cold and snowy winter!

I look at pictures of people playing in the snow and it makes me feel somewhat jealous! But then I think about having to clean the sidewalk, digging my car out every morning, n driving in the snow. Suddenly the jealousy disappears n I thank God I live in California!!

Right now in PA we’re having what I’d consider a mild winter with barely any snow, but I kind of miss the snow! So I guess it’s a toss up for me. When I was working full time outside of the house, I would have definitely said “mild winter.” 🙂

Cold winter with tons of snow. Just now wind. The snow actually keeps the climate warmer. I grew up in Norther Idaho and just moved to Southern Mississippi, where I’ve had my first “mild winter” it’s awful, doesn’t even feel like winter. I like the snow and the cold, but not the wind.

I like it both ways~ The mild winter with less snow makes it easier to deal with when you have to go out and about. But cold with lots of snow lets you find a great excuse to hibernate inside your house and get cozy with a fire and a hot chai tea latte! So living in Chicago area all my life, guess I’ve learned to like them both!

I would rather have a cold winter with tons of snow! I am not a huge fan of winter, except for when it snows. I hate the cold, but love how pretty the snow is. As long as there was pretty white snow all of the time (not the gross, muddy snow), I definitely wouldn’t mind the cold!

I would much rather have a very cold winter with TONS of snow! I live in Western NY, and we haven’t had much snow yet this year…which does not make it feel like winter at all! It’s actually pouring rain right now! 🙁

I only like snow like 2 weeks before Christmas! Then it can be gone until 2 weeks before the next Christmas; so I would say a mild winter!

I think I would prefer a mild winter. I don’t exactly love sledding nor wearing boots for 1/3 of the year. Every now and again they are fine, but living in Salt lake City has it’s costs.

I would rather have a mild winter without snow! I grew up in the north and lived through countless horrible winters and now that I live in the South, I’m STILL amazed each year at how mild it is and the concept of a “green winter”. I don’t think I’ll ever fully get used to it (on an upside, at least it keeps me thankful!).
