Hello 78!

next
The Designers Downtown Market
It’s November and it was about 78 degrees yesterday in Raleigh.

And as much as I am glad it isn’t snowing yet, I thought summer was over.

Isn’t it just wrong to have your windows open when your Christmas tree is up? Wait. Did I mention that I decorated for Christmas yet? No? Well, there was my confession. I feel better that it’s out there.

Okay: back to the outfit. . .

I picked up this lovely wheat-y vest from Old Navy the other day. It’s sweater material, but not too bulky!

Jeans: Target, Flare Premium Denim, Fall 2011
Top: TJMaxx, Tresics $5.00!!
Vest: Old Navy, Winter 2011
Necklace: J. Crew outlet, Summer 2010
Shoes: Steve Madden, old. Maybe 2007?

A vest can really change an outfit. If you are looking to spice up your wardrobe a bit, try searching for a vest in a different color or pattern than you typically buy. Then pair it with some basics and you have an updated look!

wow, I would take 78, I live in Canada, and it is 9 right now, and the ground is white, with more snow today, and more snow tomorrow. Great vest, looks great with your outfit!

Do you know if I can get Aquage in Canada, I am very curious to try it, after seeing all of your hair tutorials

We’re having super mild weather in Omaha as well. It scares me a bit for what is to come :). I also love the vest, I have been wearing a lot of them lately too!

Cute vest! I know what you mean though, this weather is crazy! I’m in GA, and it was about 73 here yesterday…as a matter of fact, it said it was 75 in my house. In Nov?? Yeah, I find it quite ridiculous too! This year’s weather has been quite a roller coaster ride though.

hi kate! i’ve been following your blog for a couple months now and LOVE it! thanks for all the tips 🙂 also, my hubs and i went to NC State and lived in raleigh for awhile (therefore i feel a small connection to you :). but i was wondering, what type of jeans are those from target? we have the same figure, they look great on you and i would really love to get some jeans from target but i feel like they are such a pain to find the right pair. sorry if it’s being a little personal to ask, but is there a name or style type for those jeans? thanks so much!!

Yes, It has been in the 70’s here- Birmingham- and I am dressing for November and riding around in boots and sweater with the A/C on! For real! I went to a luncheon this week- and there were tornado watches/warnings out- in November? So I did put a sort sleeve T under the new sweater I had bought- would normally do a turtle neck under it. But I have to have some seasonal change in the wardrobe too!!! Always enjoy your blogs!

Same thing here, I’m in VA and it’s warm, low 60’s but calling for a chance of snow tonight, what?! Crazy weather! Love the outfit! I stumbled across your blog over the weekend when searching for a new hairstyle and have to say I’ve become a fan! It’s even got me thinking about starting my own. And your kitties are soooooo cute, and their names are adorable!
