I’m a huge fan of Bare Escentuals Makeup + Skin Care. And recently, they just came out with new lip stain/gloss called Pretty Amazing Lipcolor. Let me tell you, it’s pretty amazing.
As a hairstylist, the last thing I want is my clients’ hair sticking to my lips–so lip gloss is out. Lip stick tends to be a little bit too heavy for my taste. Chap stick is worthless because my lips are practically nude color. Lip pencil is too dry. Are you catching my drift? I have very specific needs from my lip color. And since I assume everyone else has the very same stipulations 🙂 , I wanted to share this pretty amazing product with you.
It’s lip color, in a semi-shiny gloss that adhears like a lip stain. Perfect for weddings, long days at the office, long days at the mall, ya know. . .pretty much any time when you want to have lip color that lasts awhile. It doesn’t dry out like some of the “long-wear” lip colors and they offer a great variety of shades. I absolutely love Charisma. Perfect for summer!
So take my word for it and get out there and buy this amazing lip color!
In other news, if you have been reading my latest posts, you’ll be happy to know I vacuumed last night and it was wonderful. I FINALLY found a vacuum that will suck all the cat hair off of our couches. My hubby was so excited that he took my out for a shake as a reward. 🙂

I have pretty close to nude lips and pale winter skin as well, but I feel like any color I put on my lips looks very out of place on me. How did you manage to figure out what type of color works the best with your skin tone? Or is it all trial and error?
I just love your blog, such great tips from makeup to style. I have very curly hair which if chin lengh,although I do have to sue a root booster to keep it from going flat. do you have a tips for hair styles for curly hair 🙂
